Galatians 4:28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.

Here unfolds the spiritual seed of Abraham, to whom the promise was given. This as we have found out pertains to both Jews and Gentiles. Just as God had promised a son to Abraham and Sarah, “Isaac” just as sure being in the past tense are the elect of God who will be partakers of the promise. The promise to Abraham and to  the called is all by the good pleasure of a Sovereign God.  Moreover, to these children, or spiritual seed of Abraham, signified by Isaac, do all the promises belong, as that of God, as a covenant God gave unto them; of Christ, as a Saviour and Redeemer; of the Holy Spirit, as a sanctifier and comforter; and of all good things, of temporal mercies, so far as are for their real good; and of all spiritual blessings, as righteousness, peace, pardon, comfort, all supplies of grace, and eternal life. Oh, the riches of God they are unsearchable, that in the “Promise” God made to Abraham contained and secured every believers eternal life ,  every believer at that point know by an all knowing God. Do you realize that when God made that promise to Abraham He was making it too you.  These promises; the Holy Spirit, as a spirit of promise, opens and applies them to them, puts them into the hand of faith, and enables them to plead with God, and to believe the good news of the Gospel

In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. (1 John 4:9)
