Galatians 6:8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

Some people like questions to life to be black or white, and then there are those who  do not believe in absolute truth, they what an open field, they what to express their opinion. They love the gray area where circumstance can dictate truth.  Well this is what you would call a black and white verse. You sow to the flesh you will reap from the flesh corruption. You sow to the Spirit you will reap eternal life. Now to sow according to the Spirit you must be born of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit through God the Father’s calling open our eyes an understanding to the things of God, we now hear the gospel for the first time. We are new creation in Christ. So lets set up the two players. Those christians who sow to the flesh to which they are no longer in bondage to will reap the results, they will not lose their salvation but they can suffer their standing in Christ and possible  physical corruption. We know that God is not mocked. Our testimony can be damaged, and we may  lead young christians astray. There is no sin greater than God’s grace but remember the world is watching. The other side of this coin is those who deny the flesh and follow  the Spirit. To follow the Spirit leads to love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, and there is no law against this. Don’t give up it’s not easy and it  goes against our very nature, but by God’s grace, and prayer you can be more than conquers.  Do not grow weary your reward may seem long in coming, but it is all according to God’s time-table.
