Ephesians 2:17, 18 And he came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near.

And he came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near. For through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.

And came and preached peace to you which were afar off,…. Which should be understood not of Christ’s coming in the flesh; for when he came in the flesh, he came only to the Jews , and preached the Gospel in his own personal ministry to them, and not to the Gentiles. But the coming by his Spirit in the ministry of his apostles and Paul himself, to whom he gave a commission after he had made peace and reconciliation by the blood of his cross, to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to the Gentiles. The Gentile were spread all over the world in contrast to the Jews who were centrally located in and around Jerusalem. By the power of the Holy Spirit the apostles preached peace, but there can be no peace  apart from Grace. But peace is the end result of Grace. Just before my salvation I was in turmoil over my father’s death, when the gospel was shared and the Holy Spirit open my eyes and ears so I could hear and understand the good news. The moment I ask Christ to saved me, I felt that wonderful peace. So now the dividing wall is broken down, both Jew and Gentile have access to God through the Holy Spirit who joins all to the body of Christ. Are you searching, not content with your life? Are you wondering what life is all about? Are you living in turmoil? A man once told me, no God no peace; know God know peace. God sent His Son into the world, because mankind was in desperate condition with out hope, mans sin nature separated them from a Holy God. Christ lived a sinless life and bore the sins of many on the cross. His resurrection show God’s satisfaction, now as many receive Him, He give the power to become the of sons of God. If you desire peace cry out to God , confess your sins, and ask Jesus to save you.
