Ephesians 2:19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,

Greg smiling

Amazing Grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me; To know we are no longer strangers, unknown was the mysteries of God when we were strangers. We knew not of His Love, and all of His spiritual blessing. We knew not of the spiritual bond between brother and sister in Christ. We knew not the peace that can put our souls to rest. We knew not the accessibility of God. But in Christ we are no longer strangers. In Christ we have freedom from the bondage of sin, in Christ we have hope that springs eternal. in Christ we have all the riches and glory that is in Christ. In Christ we the imputation of His righteousness.

Have you ever visited a foreign country, where the ways and customs  were unknown to you? Where the language was unintelligible. That was our state before we were saved. We were like fish out of water we were in a state of confusion. we could not order from the menu, or understand a conversation. We could not read their books the text was not understandable. All this because we were Aliens. But God who is rich in mercy and has drawn us to Christ has now made us ambassadors to strange and dying world. When we lived in Arizona, in Arizona City, we bought our meat from a market in Eloy Arizona. The market was own by a Hispanic women who did not speak a lick of english. So when we went to buy meat we  would have to use pictures to communicate or wait till her daughter came home from school, she was our ambassador. I could only imagine the difficulties that woman had doing business and being and alien to our customs.  But now in Christ we are no longer strangers and aliens, both Jews and gentile now have a common bond in Christ.  Grace and peace to you from God our father and The Lord Jesus Christ.
