Ephesians 3:7 Of this gospel I was made a minister according to the gift of God’s grace, which was given me by the working of his power.

That is, of the Gospel, not by men, but by God: and he is a true minister of the Gospel who is called of God and commissioned to the work of the Gentiles, and is qualified by him with grace and gifts for it; and Paul who faithfully discharges it according to the ability God has given.  According to the gift of the grace of God-given unto Paul; not according to his natural capacity, his education, or acquired learning; but according to a gift, a ministerial gift bestowed upon him. Each of us when we are saved and placed into the body of Christ are given grace and gift to equip us for our God-given responsibilities. No man can carry out the works of God with their own natural power. Anything thing done with man’s natural power is worthless in the eyes of God. Paul put His pants on the same way we do, He was and needed to be empowered by the Holy Spirit to carry out what Gods had prescribe Him to do. Doing what we are called to do is not easy, to fulfill or commission. We must take up our cross daily, and fight the good fight. The word “fight” involves trials and pain, but God who has called us will also equip us to do our ministry. This might be easier to say than to do! But never recoil when you know God is calling you to a ministry. He is not calling you because you are strong, fearless and educated. He is calling you because you lack anything in yourself to do what he wants you to do. If you did anything for God with your own power who would get the Glory? All through scripture God used people who were underqualified. So step with Faith into the rushing river, God love to show His powers through unqualified Children. It was an enormous job God gave to Paul, Paul step out in Faith and God work through a little man to do a big job.
