Ephesians 3:14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father,
The King James says “for this cause” The bible ask many times are there not a cause? And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. (Hebrews 9:15) Then hear thou in heaven their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause.(1 Kings 8:45) Do you have a cause? or you like a wave tossed too and fro? Our cause is to glorify God, wether it be through sharing the gospel and God’s amazing grace, or through fires of affliction. Our daily walk should be as such that people would see God through our words and action. And this is not done in our strength , but it is God who maintains our cause for His name sake. Therefore, we should in humble adoration bow before the Father. Many of battles have been won, not by sword or gun, but on the knees, it is for God we should plead. Prayer is the deadbolt at night, and our first waking breath in the morning. The man who fights on His knees is God He seeks to please. Because of God’s eternal purpose and God’s amazing grace in that He has called us to an inheritance beyond our wildest imagination. For this reason we should bow before God the Father, who sent His Son to be an acceptable sacrifice, on our behaves, giving us the gift of eternal life.
Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. (Jude 1: 24,25)
