Ephesians 3:16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being,
God will not be robbed, your calling , your walk, your gifts are all according to His riches and for His Glory. Or according to, and out of that rich, plenteous, and glorious fulness of grace and strength in Christ Jesus. In Paul’s prayer He asks God to grant you the riches of his glory, he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being. Notice in this short prayer Paul addresses their spiritual needs.not physical needs. If you are a Christian you are called by God to suffer, to be purged and conformed to the image of Christ. We can not handle this in our own power, we must have God strength to overcome. And in our administration of our gifts it is vital that we are strengthened with His power through his Spirit in your inner being, It is difficult as Christians to totally deny our flesh when it come to our spiritual duties. We so often want to turn back to the flesh when all our battles and our Christian walk are in the spiritualities. Those who worship God must do so in Spirit and truth. Let this be a model in our prayer life to pray for the spiritual needs, where the battle of life are fought. We will learn later in Ephesians that our battle is not against Flesh and Blood, but against powers and principalities in the spiritual realm. Are weapon are not swords and guns but on our knees in prayer.
Ephesian 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Ephesians 6:13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.
Ephesians 6:14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
Ephesians 6:15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.
Ephesians 6:16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one;
Ephesians 6:17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,
Ephesians 6:18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,
Ephesians 6:19 and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel,
Ephesians 6:20 for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.
