Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love. (Ephesians 4:15-16)

In contrast to verse 14, where the schemes of the wicked twisted the truth and used half truths to leads the sheep astray. rather speak the truth from an attitude of love. The fuel that powers the gifts is ‘love’.  It is a model for the use of our gifts,   patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant,or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. This is what should fuel or Gifts. Each gift is designed to point to the head of the body “Christ” any gift used selfishly will point towards you. Is your Church anemic and not growing in spiritual growth, never judge a church by the numbers. five spiritual Christians grounded on the truth is better than ten thousand immature self-centered Christians. When each person using their spiritual gift according to Gods will they will be built up in love. If you have been called of God, you should not have to be told what your gift is, you will know it. Those on authority will know it. There is nothing wrong with the church praying for certain gifts, that accompany an unknown believer, that God could bring to that church. But beware Christian God knows which gift is best suited for you, you are not to desire a special gift, that is selfish and self seeking. When we self seeking Christians seek what they think is the better gift there is bound to be trouble. Or Churches that promote it, they out- of- line  so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.
